Allison Zeen (She/Her/Hers)Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at The Feeling Space
Allison Zeen, AMFT #138449 (She/Her), is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California under the supervision of Lisa Jellison, M.A., LMFT #46430 and Danielle Golan, LMFT #134068. Allison works with kids, teens, young adults, and adults who care deeply, hold themselves to high standards, and struggle to switch off their minds. Her clients are often seen as capable and dependable, yet privately feel anxious, overwhelmed, or exhausted from trying to keep everything together. They may replay conversations, second-guess decisions, put others’ needs ahead of their own, or find it difficult to relax without feeling guilty. The same dedication that others admire can leave them feeling stretched too thin. Allison specializes in anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic, perfectionism, and burnout. She helps clients who feel caught in persistent worry, unwanted thoughts, or a need to feel certain and in control. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, offering space to feel understood while actively working toward change. Drawing on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Allison helps clients understand what keeps these patterns going and practice responding differently. Together, they work on facing fears, handling uncertainty, setting boundaries, and making room for their own needs. The goal is not to stop caring or give up ambition, but to feel less driven by fear and pressure and more able to enjoy relationships, work, and everyday life. As a French-Venezuelan therapist who has lived in several countries, Allison appreciates how culture and identity shape our relationships, expectations, and sense of belonging. She offers therapy in English, Spanish, and French and welcomes clients into a nonjudgmental space where they do not have to perform or have everything figured out. Allison offers in-person therapy in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and West Los Angeles, as well as online therapy throughout California. [email protected]
