Matthew Hererra, M.A., AMFT #136003 (He/Him) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California under the supervision of Lisa Jellison, M.A., LMFT#46430. Matthew’s approach to psychotherapy is characterized by an emphasis of building a strong therapeutic relationship, being present in the moment, authenticity, and creating a relaxed atmosphere. During initial sessions, Matthew helps clients examine the primary issues at hand and collaborates with clients on building a treatment plan aimed at addressing their most significant challenges and symptoms. Matthew has experience working with clients struggling with various mental illnesses including Bipolar, Major Depressive, PTSD, and Dysthymic Disorders.
